AAFACD envision immigrants and their children serving as leaders in Minnesota, while maintaining their cultural values and identity
AAFACD orients and provides culturally sensitive services to Minnesota’s recently arrived immigrants and refugees by addressing newcomers’ needs for employment, healthcare, immigration, and other supportive services.
The name, African & American Friendship Association for Cooperation and Development reflects dual approaches to promoting both the successful integration of immigrants into Minnesota’s communities as well as promoting understanding of immigrants by mainstream Minnesotans.
